I usually run for exercise two or three times a week. Never really serious about it.

Gonna run a local 5k again this year, just for fun

This. I do 50-100km/week. Done 618.5km since June 15 according to my phone's pedometer, probably closer to 650 as my phone has died many times on long walks.

I can't run because I can't afford to lose weight. If I can get my BMI up to 19 or 20 by spring, I'll start running again.

What do you guys run in? I usually run with my Nike Waffle Racers, they're comfortable as hell. I've used my Flyknits a few times, equally as comfortable.

@schminx : Who said runners don't have going to the gym in their routines? Cardio is important, you can't just only go the gym.

But foreal.. I've been trying to step up my running game. 5k usually takes bout 28-30 mins.. I don't run as often as I want to though... Kind of hard to get up out of bed and run.

I run in lunarglide 4's cause they make them wide.. Anybody have any shoe suggestions for wide feet?

Well, Knee pain is quite obvious to those who usually gets involved in sort of squatting..But despite of baring the pain and avoid running we should try to find some convenient ways to get rid of the pain. I have read a book and there were information various natural ways that can help one out of the knee pain.

I've been running for a little more than 2 years now. Just came from a run actually. Most of my friends aren't big on running but idk... if you could make that playlist perfect, it really is just fun. I'm a slim dude so I just do it for fun. When you run at a challenging pace (Meaning you can NOT talk casually while running), it feels great by the time you're done. Whether its a single mile, interval running, or an Ultra, it's cool to learn what pace works for you and going with it. I missed the deadline for the NYC Marathon this year so I'm doing the 9+1 program for next year for a guaranteed spot.  Anyway, Happy Running HB. Hope to see this thread continues!
