I did freeweight exercises with a Supreme duffle full of orange juice bottles I had refilled with water when I was broke as hell and couldn't afford a gym.

I still can't afford a gym.

You can do callisthenic workout routines. This type of training uses your own body weight as resistance instead of an expensive gym membership or exercise equipment e.g. http://homegym-exercises.com/bwe_bodyweight_exercises.html All you really need is enough space to do the exercises.

You don't need to buy much to get a home gym. A pull up bar is great and a set of dumbbells, a bar and some weights and your golden..
