I take it people think tattoos are stupid because they're too permanent or something? Well, anyone familiar with "Infinitink?"
It's a regular tattoo ink in that it's applied the same way with the same machine with the same pain and the same permanence. BUT, if you want it removed down the line, it can be done with as little as one laser treatment.
It uses microscopic capsules of ink that burst during laser treatment allowing the body to absorb it or something like that. It's been met with opposition from tattoo purists, but I don't get why. It's not like it's temporary ink or fading ink. Like regular ink, it lasts as long as you want it to. You have to go through the same pain to get it and remove it, so I don't see it encouraging people getting stupid tattoos. They do that already. It's merely an insurance policy. And seeing the dumb shit people get, I don't think this can do much harm.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be available. Their website doesn't work for me, almost nowhere sells it, and all the links about it are from a couple years ago when it was big news. Even their facebook hasn't been updated since 2009.http://www.painfulpleasures.com/xcart/customer/home.php?cat=436
That seems to be the only place....and they only have red.
