Has anyone here try to quit smoking for good? I'm on my 3rd week and I feel like shit. Lately, I've been getting pissed off over the stupidest shit. Like right now I'm pissed off bcuz some guy is mowing his lawn outside and the sound is irritating as fuck. I've also been having difficulty sleeping and waking up. So basically, I'm tired all the time and it's fucking depressing. Tbh the only reason why I haven't smoked a cigarette yet is because I've been getting high every time I crave that nicotine. So how long does this feeling last?

I dread the day I decide to get my shit together and quit.

I prefer carcinogens to endorphins.

I don't smoke, but I did a no fap for 30 days so I might be able to help. I felt the same way you do, but I didn't let that get to me. I just kept myself occupied and played video games. After 30 days though I let that thang bust.

Good luck bro and don't give up.

I quit smoking cold turkey, and it took me exactly 2 weeks to lose any craving. The key to quitting for me was to think of something important in my life where smoking had a negative impact. For me, a family member of mine was diagnosed with cancer; and although it wasn't lung cancer, to show support for them I decided to quit. Been smoke free for almost a year.

If you are not around other smokers, quitting is easier.

Saying that though it takes will power.

I was a smoker for ten years and Ive quit for good since mid Feb. Yeah I realize it hasn't been that long but I can honestly say I dont a fuck about smoking anymore. I do suggest trying an ecig for a bit to help you through the cravings. It will help due to the fact it contains nicotine and you can still have the sensation of smoking. But dont get hooked on those cause whats the point of trying to quit then. Best of luck to you and stay in there, its worth it.

Instead of cold turkey quitting, trying reducing the number of cigs smoked a day try the patch and gum.

The hardest part is resisting the stogie when you've been drinking smh
I know I can't quit cold turkey, so I've been cutting it down to 1 or 2 cigs a day. If I have more cravings then I just hit a bowl.

Bruh what?? That is an expensive ass change of habit if you smoke a j for every cigaret you used to smoke

But yeah i feel you man, i tried quitting 2-3 times and after a week when one of the homies light one i always bitch out and ask for one, and then u cop a pack on the way to get food because u cant just leech off your boy all day, and then ur back in...

fuck that shit. I had the worst experience going cold turkey. I quit smoking about a year ago and the withdrawal almost lasted 2 months. Gained a lot of weight had anxiety and didn't wanna go out. But its getting better and better as days pass but I have to be honest I do have panic attacks ever so often. Those fucking suck donkey dick
