Anyone ever get one? Or know anyone who has. There's a guy locally near me and he does readings and people claim his readings are pretty accurate, I was thinking I might get one just for the hell of it. Anyone believe in this type of stuff, or just think its a load of horse shit?

A lot of times when people get readings done, the ideas that get put into your head subconsciously cause you to make things happen.. a.k.a self fulfilling prophecies. In that way it's not horse shit just a sort of unintentional mind control.

I got a reading from a monk . Shit was crazy real but i think about it everyday and some of the stuff was obvious in retrospect but some things were readings . my age ima get a real job or when i'ma be successful and the girl i like didn't like me and if i could get her it wouldn't work out even if i forced it. or how ima marry a black girl and if i choose to have an Asian it will be a widow with one child. I was in awe felt good to know there is a higher power.

Get references from local clients. I've done readings for almost 40 years, well known in community, excellent reputation which I have earned. My clients come to me because they are referred by other clients. Some 'readers' are sincere but unskilled, some are frauds, a few can be really helpful. So check him out first. If he preys on your fears, find the nearest exit. If he is encouraging and not controlling, he might be okay.

Yep - make sure they are trusted though, helman-b sounds like the type of psychic you want to go and see. Somebody who has a good reputation and is well known is your best option. This might not interest you but I can recommend Psychic Ellie at Wishing Moon - although I know a phone reading might not be something you're looking for.
