i don't think you understand how prideful these cops are. lapd is a bunch of wanna-be alpha males, no way in hell they would admit to any wrong doing. plus, if they were to say "yeah we were wrong the whole time" do you not realize what the backlash would be from the media AND from the citizens of LA county? it's not worth it to just say fuck it let's admit it and catch this guy, and then say we lied about it to catch him. doesn't work that way.
