i had like 2 oakley stickers i ordered. put them on my laptop. it stopped working after a month. got another laptop, put the oakley sticker on. the charger area got bent up so it wouldn't charge. I am now on my third laptop and shall refuse to put stickers on it.

Also I don't think it's corny. If it's done right it can look cool. If you shamelessly put every sticker you own on it, that's overkill. OP's laptop looks pretty bad imo

brands give out so many free stickers seems a waste not to use them; stick em on your laptop, your wall, your window, your arm, your pets, even stick them stickers on your stickers.

Never saw the appeal. I dont think it looks horrible but dont find it cool either. Also ruins the resale value which seems like something I would want to keep open as an option. But I'm still on my first laptop so can't judge too hard.
