Is my order lost? Vol USPS

So i ordered one of my textbooks from Amazon and it shipped last thurs and USPS says it was expected to 
get to my house on the 29 (Tues.) and today's the 30...

The trackin says its only been accepted and it's still in NY.

I need my math book via friday too so I need to know ASAP. Also, if it is lost, can I get a refund?

The book was sold by BookTrek too btw..

Probably lost. USPS sucks in my opinion. Had a package delivered a week after estimated on non-holiday time, and tracking said it was in my states sorting facility for that entire time.

Coming from someone who deals with logistics on the regular the best bet is to call up customer services and hand over your tracking number or reference number. If you've been robbed tho you're out of luck.
