I really don't want to work tomorrow, and I know this is a stupid question but how do I call in sick? I'm planning on saying hey, this is ****** ad I have a 101 degree fever so I can come in, I work in a retail job if it matters, is that good enough?

yeah, its really that easy. most managers will be cool with it, others will bitch.

if i were you, just to stay on their good side, id hit up a couple people and see if theyre willing to take your shift so when you call you can say "i wont be able to come in, but ***** said hed be willing to cover for me." Ive been the employee and the supervisor, and sayin something like that always makes it easier on everyone.

hahah it really is nerve wrecking the first couple of times though. was for me cause Im an honest dude, but once you pull through youll be like "thats it?". its like losing your virginity or getting your license. its a checkpoint worth arriving to, but once you pass it youll be like "thats what I was waiting so long for?"
