The Road is a great book, the movie doesn't do it justice. I strongly recommend anything by Cormac McCarthy, I've read most of his books and they're all great.

^ Physical copies... I like having a collection I can look at on my bookcase although eBooks are definitely more convenient... Incidentally Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is one of my favorite books
