There are so many fucking rappers!!! So many rappers that don't understand how bad they are, I think that's the worst part. The Facebook/twitter thirst from these parasites is unbearable. Everybody is either A) A rapper B) A friend of a rapper C) A rapper that is in a gang, cult, squad, etc that includes 3-4 other rappers. My main issue is that some of these rappers are in they're mid 20's and still using google images and Times New Roman for their cover arts, " managed " by their best friend, and feel the need to add booking contact info in they're artist bio. How can we stop this situation? Do we really have to just wait this one out?

I know nobody will read this but if anyone cares my name is John Brooks and I'm an aspiring musician, I started at the age of 13 and I'm now 20 with fire in my eyes and ambition to be the best. If you have a moment check out the music on my page, you won't regret it!

I see it on EVERY FUCKING MUSIC VIDEO

Jesus Christ I thought you were spamming this, the irony would have killed me. But yes, rappers spamming rappers is a vicious circle that doesn't seem like it will end soon.

I think before the internet everybody wanted to be a rapper. but with soundcloud, youtube, and all the other various ways to put out music we have everyone actually putting it out and claiming it as a profession. That and the fact that this generation is obsessed with instant gratification and feel like they can make it happen by rapping. I do my shit for fun and I don't really expect to go anywhere with it.

thats the way it is now, deal with it. i think there have always been bad rappers/musicians. at this point rap is the most popular, but i think its really just that with the internet we are more aware of it and more susceptible to endless self promotion. its annoying at times but i think its also bred innovation and has caused some pretty interesting things to happen in the industry.

He's kinda good but here's why we have so many rappers

MAINSTREAM, all these young artists like Lil Mouse and Chief Keef plus bad rappers like Soujla Boy and RIFF RAFF  got these niggas saying "Well maybe I can make it too"

BUT YOU CANT. How can you make it if you use INSTRUMENTALS and not ORIGINAL PRODUCTION. Instead of tryna rap, GET A JOB.
