Someone doesn't understand how deep-frying works. The oil acts as a barrier after ~325* and cooks the food internally using steam, no moisture is lost, in fact more moisture is retained in deep-frying than any other method of cooking.

I wouldn't be worried with what the food is actually made up of, I'd be worried about the people making your food in the back of the fast food joint. I've heard/seen some pretty nasty shit done to people's food...

truth is we're surrounded by germs, our bodies take in nasty man made chemicals, we eat shitty processed shit thats horrible for us, and guess what? We also are living longer than ever. fucked up for real is genocide, not mickey d's. The vast majority of us can eat fast food in moderation and live a long happy healthy life. Fast food might be nasty, but so is a shitload of other shit we're all doing all the time, thats the world we live in. I give a shit to keep myself to a certain fitness, but I don't trip over lifes daily nastiness.

the reason they don't change after months are because there is almost 0 moisture in their products.... its all removed during the cooking process and is already low to ensure freshness during shipment. im not saying that they're healthy or anything but i see that example used a lot when the real reason isn't brought to light.
