So i started applying for scholarships today, but most of them asked for the major i was considering. I never really put much thought into that, so I just selected "Business" as a safe option. But now I'm just curious. If you're in college, what are you majoring in? And if you're in high school, what are you thinking about?

if you do some research on acceptance rates per major on your school of choice, you can apply as a major that's more often accepted and then later change your major to your actual major of choice, in case anyone didn't know. cool

ofc if you're transferring, make sure you're eligible. though most transfer requirements are the same per major on an individual school's basis, not all are

Was going to go for this even though there isn't a Neuroscience major we jut have Biology and then it's Med School and from there you get into all the little things, but good luck I love studying about the brain.

accounting sucks once you get into tax and auditing. intermediate 1 and 2 were no fun either, fuck accounting.
no one said it was gonna be a walk in the park. it doesn't get easier till your up past i forgot but something 2. and alot of ppls quit anyways cuz their not ready for the heavy work in the top accounting firms. u can go work at some no name small accounting firm but the money not their. and no one I expect in this thread plans to be an account there whole life. its just a gate opener to other opportunities to a lifetime career.

"Accounting sucks" Yeah, but graduates have a high ass chance of finding a job and a starting salary of about 45k so non of that shit really matters!

accounting is a great major if it fits you. there is definitely money to be made with an accounting degree, especially if you land something in the big four. it is definitely not for everyone though so don't go into it just for the money like i tried doing lol
