Too many frail niggas on HB, I need a place to discuss workouts & shit on here & the fitness thread is about as alive as Ja Rule's rap career

What's y'all niggas thoughts on protein powder? I make muscle gains but I know I ain't gettin enough protein. Should I supplement? & what are y'all thoughts on creatine as well? I get mixed reviews

I use dymatize elite whey powder and creatine from the same brand. I was stuck at a plateau the past year but dramatically upped the amount of protein I get and been seeing improvements. i try to get 1g of protein per 1lb of bodyweight. also watch the sugars and saturated fats or you'll just end up dirty bulking

i have no weights or money for a gym, if i focus on eating for now and do push ups/sit ups/squats will i be straight? im skinny but pretty muscular/cut for my weight, i used to swim and im pretty much the same build/body type as michael phelps

No, you won't get muscles if all you do is eat and some pussy ass push ups.

And OP, you can supplement shakes if you aren't getting enough protein in your diet sure, and creatine is good but you could be naturally resistant to it, try out monohydrate creatine, other types are bad.
