Apparently if you transfer it to a separate bank account, then you CAN keep any interest you accrue on it. While you might not get much from the interest, it's still better than nothing. As long as you don't spend it, it's legal.

They will take it back like everybody is saying. Most likely the funds are not available and all you're looking at it is a number.

This type of mistake is not uncommon because tellers are idiots. When they close their books at the end of the day the Bank Manager knows if numbers are not correct.

But my gut would tell me try and hide it somehow.

don't use it, i saw like 3 different stories about this on the news and yahoo. if you use it the bank will find out and there's a law for it or something, i forgot. you can go to jail for a long time so i highly suggest you don't. the banks gunna' find out sooner or later so i would tell them, they'll probably honor your character or something lmfao.
