not moving.. though I was hoping romney would win, ( wouldve considered G. Johnson if it wouldve actually counted) . Nothing against Dems but I believe Obama in particular has divided people and created a lot of "fanaticism" and zeolotry, so to speak. I mean no president has ever been re-elected w/ unemployment above 7.2 , we got 7.9. let alone adding 6 trill to the national debt. So to me, he's really just manipulated his base w/o really earning their vote.
he doesnt even have to, people do it for him. in the last days before the election, all the talk was about how romney hates women, wants to outlaw abortion, believes women dont deserve equal pay, etc. all of which was gross exaggeration of the truth. i think we are becoming less and less informed and more and more polarized based on stereotypes and emotion, which is only escalated as a result of social media. i dont even like Romney but i think he was grossly misrepresented by media and social media, although its his fault too seeing as how he didn't assert what he actually did believe strongly enough. its just sad because i think conservatives actually do have very valid concerns when it comes to economics and logistics of how the government should be run, but all of it is overlooked because they are perceived as crazy extremists/sexists/racists. i think there are some pretty huge economic problems that really need to be dealt with and that most democrats simply choose to ignore, and its sad that this bipartisan system has just lead to polarization which leads to no-one getting anything done.
