Step one: Don't worry about being alpha. Focus on being secure in yourself. Focus on bettering yourself. If you do that, the rest falls into place.

But, Alpha males are only alpha males in their own groups. So a group of nerds playing MW3 might have a guy who's the alpha in that crew...but they're complete betas to the rest of the world. So, don't judge your alpha status based on your own group. Get out out of your comfort zone and observe other alphas and determine whether or not you'd be an alpha along with them, or you're just a beta who thinks he's an alpha.
