I am afraid of death for the simple fact that I have my whole life ahead of me and I haven't done anything to make my life valuable, to me, yet.

"If God asked what have I done for him"

I would say I gave him 19 years of my life dedicated to him and he gave me nothing to reassure me I was doing it for a good reason; no signs or messages so I will dedicate the rest of my life to thinking rationally and doing good deeds for my own personal benefit instead of doing it because of fear of being cast into hell.

By dying i mean naturally, you know becoming old, disease, etc, etc. When i think of being killed i think of getting shot, car accident, roof falling on your head.

when i was like 8 i whole heartedly believed when i died i would go to heaven, then one day i realized what eternal life meant and that scared the shit out of me. living forever was literally my biggest fear, and i would tell my mom i really didn't want to go to heaven and live forever just for like 400 years or something haha. I still believed in god though for a long time, for me thats never what religion was about.
yeooo, haha this.

I was young and I would think about the day ending, then the day starting, then ending, then starting, and never really ending. I was scared as fuck to live forever. If you know you have an eternity, theres no real drive to push you to do things.

the greek gods were bored as fuck with their immortal selves. fuckin human ladies, pillaging the mortal, having nothing to fear, barely even each other. I can only imagine
