Anybody Feel Better With Less Sleep?

When i dont sleep i feel good as hell throughout the day. But when i get sleep, i feel tired as shit the whole fuckin day.

This happens to me every so often. Like 5 hours tends to be a magic number for me. More and I'm sleepy. Less and I"m sleepy. But a clean, uninterrupted 5 hours usually gets the job done. But like once a month I think my body tries to catch up on sleep and I sleep for like 10 hours and feel great.

Seriously though, they say that you feel refresh/more energized if you wake up on 90 minute increments of sleep. Something about your sleep cycle/stages where around every 90 minutes you are at a light level of sleep instead of deep. Learned it in psychology.

So say it's probably better to wake up after 6hrs of sleep instead of 6.5hrs. More sleep is not always better. Everybody is different though.

i'll sleep at midnight wake up at 7 and i'll feel like a fuckin puddle

i'll sleep at 4 wake up at 6 and i'll jump out of bed and deliver a baby.

i think it's cause if you don't reach the point where your brain enters deep deep sleep then you'll wake up and feel alright, but if your brain wakes up in the middle of that deepness, you'll just disentegrate

If I sleep for 8 hours I will feel sluggish as fuck throughout the duration of the day unless I get that double espresso shot.

5 hours max is all I need...I even feel better with only 2 hours of sleep.

I try to get 8 hours. If I get less than that I feel tired all day and if I get more than that I feel lazy all day.

it's been said that if you sleep for more than 8 hours, you're going to feel groggy and sluggish throughout the day.. but i can't go with less than 6 hours. that's my usual hour. i won't be able to wake up if i get less than 6 hours of sleep

I usually get 6-7 hours of sleep.
I can function off less pretty well.
But if i pass out at like 7PM and wake up at 6AM, my work day usually drags really bad.

it has to do with sleep cycles. if you awake during 1 part of your sleep cycle rather than another youll feel better. google it.

i've recently started to use this sleep cycle app and it records your sleeping patterns.


Went to bed / woke up: 4:00 AM - 9:54 AM
Total time: 5:53

i usually do fine off about 6 to 5 hours but i'm kinda groggy today, maybe cause i went to bed at 4 lmfao

I just find alot more easy to get up when i sleep for less time but by the end of the day i am dead tired
