Hey so I just won a pair of free tickets to see J. Cole at some footaction event on the 19th. The email that said I won also said I and the person I bring have to be 18+. I'm 16 do u think they'll check IDs or should I call ahead to find out. Could someone who's won tickets before let me know how it works? Thanks

If the venue is 18+ its....well its 18+ haha. I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to slip into it, the 18+ concerts aren't obviously as heavily secured as say a 21+ where they're carding you to make sure you're old enough due to alcohol being sold.

But anyways, I'd give them a call, explain your personal situation and see since you won them if you would be allowed to go. If not, snag the tickets, sell both of them and put the money towards another concert you want to see that's all ages. Good luck.

if it's 18+ the venues I've been to have all checked. It usually means that the show goes later than curfew. Also, you'll need to show ID to get the tickets to prove who you are. so you're SOL. no matter how lax security is you will need to show ID if you've won tickets.

I had to give them my name and my guests name to claim the tickets. So either I'm going or the tickets are going to waste

pick up the tickets and slang them on spot, or do a good deed and lace up someone who is 18, easy come easy go.

I can't, they're non transferable. I had to give them my name and my guest's name and I'm guessing they'll be on the tickets.
