I think religions that make sense, like being Hindu and Muslim are okay. (Shit like mormonism is weird as hell) There is something I learned recently - is that a higher power (God) belief is literally as old as man himself. Believing in god is genetic. Seriously. There are millions of alcoholics, drug addicts, sex addicts that depend on a higher power, whatever it may be, to get relief from their addictions. And it works, but you guys would not know about it. And we all know that if you believe in God, it is for a reason, therapy or hope, or whatever it may be it it is not just for shits and gigs.the belief in god is not really genetic. many pedagogues say that the belief in a higher power originates from the feeling that a baby has to his mother. like the feeling that there is someone who takes care of you no matter what.
That's why I believe religions make sense and atheists are just idiots tangled up in left brained logic.
