i think lakers should of tried getting anthony davis for bynum after he puts on weight he might be a problem and they would of got some decent bench players too and wouldn't have to give up gasol
@melvinj23 On paper OKC are constructed to upset the Lakers. Perkins was brought in to limit the effectiveness of guys like Gasol/Bynum and now Howard. Perkins even has a track record of limiting Howards play dating back to 2009 when Perkins was still a Celtic. Ibaka is another defender used to limit the Lakers bigs. Nobody on the Lakers matches up well with Durant. Nobody matches up well with Westbrook. Nobody matches up well with Harden off the bench. Look at the stat lines from the 2012 series. The offense of OKC flows through those 3. The Lakers have done nothing to stop or even limit the play of those 3. Bench depth also favors the Thunder. Lakers better hope that the Thunder can't defend the pick and roll.
i know bynum is a beast when he wants to play but he's lazy, injury prone and seems like he doesn't have any interest playing in the lakers, and plus kobe got like two or three years left before retiring they could try building a new franchise off a new kid.

@comeatmebruh I'm not saying the Thunder will flat out beat the Lakers. I think the Lakers have a great team but I don't think they match up well with the Thunder on paper. Durant shot below 50% from the field only one time which was game 5. Artest cannot affect Durant's shot at all. He shot 42% in game 5. Perkins and Ibaka are interior defense specialists. Why would you want them taking shots when Durant, Westbrook, and Harden usually had great personnel match ups.

@comeatmebruh If I was in charge of the Lakers I would have acquired Anthony Randolph just to guard Durant. 6-10, with a pterodactyl wingspan and freakish athleticism. He's been on several teams but is rarely played. He's basically Durant without the amazing shooting. The Nuggets quietly signed him recently.

I agree, I said that nobody except for LBJ can defend KD.. he's just that good. Harden is like a magician, disappearing in critical times. I wouldn't put him in the same sentence as Westbrook and Durant when it comes to scoring. Also Westbrook's scoring, in a way, takes away from Durant. His shots don't come in the flow of their offense; they come from ISOs or shots before initiating the offense. In reality it shouldn't be him taking those shots it should be KD.
