(i got to UMiami)

Sort of confused as what is the best method to get into the industry, but also make some money.

I'm a French major at UCD in Cali but I want to do the pretty much the same stuff you want to, marketing and that stuff, but I'm interning at a lab supply store on campus as an IT Intern/Social Media Coordinator. I advertise whatever promotion is going on or make ads/banners on photoshop for the promotions so it's real cool. But maybe marketing would be a good choice and then you can just intern somewhere.

How hard is that? I know a few aerospace and electrical engineers. I assumed there was a tier of difficulty, like electrical being the lowest.

Yeah, but my moms advised me to go into Psychology instead told me that are more jobs that can pay better in psychology then in sociology. I think a masters in psych could take me farther than a masters in sociology.

For jobs in the real world humanities degrees are pretty bad. Unless you want to at least master in psychology or sociology it's pretty pointless unless you are cool with a job paying 10$ an hour.

As far as jobs go your computer sciences degree would be much more useful.

As for myself I'm going to double major in nutrition and business.

Oh ite i gotchu. But Psych is one of the most common majors now so even though there may be opportunities you got more competition feelme

Engineering, programming, and the more science/tech stuff are your best bet for jobs & $$$

I know alot of Psych majors from various schools, many of them good reputable colleges, that are waiters, etc. now

Marketing majors are a waste unless you get into a master's program. A BS in marketing will most likely get you entry-level sales/customer service jobs.

I go to PSU for kinesiology. Fat people FTW.
