Definitely. I feel like the Illuminati could only possibly be a secret society, much like the Bohemian Grove secret club (Many presidents like Bush are members), Fraternities or the KKK. But I don't feel like they have a hand in pop music like people try to make it out to be. These people are just mad and trying to find a way to explain why the radio doesn't play what they like. They reach for examples that can be tagged "Illuminati" when really I don't believe it has anything to do with the Illuminati. There might not even be a true club, just a group of people who live secret lives we don't even know (They don't eat where we eat, they don't drive what we drive, which is what makes them seem so secret). I'm talking corporate CEOs, high government officials, etc. It's just us trying to familiarize that which is what we do to everything, because the unfamiliar worries us.

That's how I see it I guess. I won't deny it's existence, but I really don't feel like Jay or Kanye are in it.

yes, no shit, because everybody has heard of the conspiracy at this point. it has nothing to do with whether its real or not, the conspiracy is just huge and absolutely blown up everywhere. there is definitely some weird shit going on with the world's most powerful (see - bohemian grove, bilderberg group) but the kind of thinking without any evidence or even facts to back up your claims that you are utilizing is what gives the conspiracy such an idiotic name. for christ's sake, look at the youtube videos about this shit. 90% are absolutely nonsensical. the jay rumors are pretty good examples of this, because jay isn't nearly powerful as the people who attend the 2 meetings i mentioned. people turned this conspiracy into petty entertainment and fear from the beginning. hell, i doubt 80% of the people who do talk about bohemian grove under youtube videos have read factual reports of the place like this - http://www.vanityfair.com/style/features/2009/05/bohemian-grove200905
