Those shows are okay. You don't see blatant copies of them like Macfarlane has done though. Take the Simpsons and Futurama. Matt Groening didn't just make a sloppy copy of the Simpons and call it something different, it actually is quite different. Macfarlane made three shows that are fundamentally the same. If you made three Simpsons or three South Parks they would lose what charm they currently hold. If you can't make the distinction between the "three Family Guys" and the other cartoons then I would suggest taking a closer look at what you're actually watching and quit staring at the screen.

On a side note I like how somebody said my criticisms were hipster. That's such a cliche.
