I have several species of scorpions. Some can be lethal, others would barely hurt. I currently have two species with babies right now. One species is from Cuba, the other from the Caribbean. Both of these species are non lethal and I've handled them as well. I'm currently raising a bunch of young scorpions and once they get old enough, I'll attempt to breed them also.

I sell these scorpion on certain forums but if the HB fam is interested in getting started in the hobby I can shoot you several babies for an extremely low price. I'll also help you take care of them and be a source you can ask questions too.

Anyways go ahead and ask whatever you want. It's not everyday you're able to talk to a scorpion breeder. I'll also try to add pics to this thread if you guys would like.

I have 4 different species which have caused deaths, however the people killed by them were people in the third world country where the scorpion is native to. Meaning they didn't have quick access to a hospital and were most likely unhealthier than an American.

For the species that I'm selling, an adult would probably go for $30 each. A baby usually goes for half that. I think it'd be dope to get other ppl in the hobby so I'd probably sell a bunch of babies for $20. This way you can breed them on your own when they get bigger. For the 2 species that I have babies of, they're super easy to breed because they're a communal species. You don't have to do anything special with this species. As long as they're fed and live in the same container, they'll breed on their own.

With the more aggressive and non communal species, you have to watch them breed then separate them when they're done so they don't fight and kill each other. Watching them breed is actually kinda fun. The male does a weird ass dance and tries to get the female to join him. Once she "agrees" the male will grab her by her claws and they dance together.

Here's the species that has killed the most people. It's not the most venomous scorpion but due to it's location, it comes into contact with people more often which means more stings.

For babies, you can go into any petsmart or petco and ask for small crickets. For adults, they'll eat a lot of different things.

Depends on the species. The ones that I have that are considered potentially deadly, it would hurt a lot. Swelling, dizziness, shortness of breath. The ones I have for sale, it would be a bee sting at the most, most likely not even on the level of a bee sting.

Yeah I've had 1 escape. I woke up from work and noticed one was missing from his deli container. I started looking for him and realized I'd have to call in. I called my work saying I was sick and couldn't make it in that day. I found the scorpion shortly after. Good thing it was a harmless species.

Nope. I place them in a small plastic container like a pill jar. The scorpion is surrounded by slightly moistened paper towel scraps. That plastic container is then surrounded by bubble wrap or newspaper and placed in a box to ship. I ship either 2 day shipping or overnight.

I'm raising some deadly species and I'll breed them once they're bigger. The only ones I have being bred right now are the ones in the first post which are harmless. I'm not sure if I'd even sell the deadly ones to ppl on HB. Maybe if they're over 18.

id like to buy one just so i can kill it and help rid the world of these things. do you not realize these things want to kill you? they dont even have memory. its not like raising a dog. each time they see you youre a new person to fuck over and a new life to ruin. you should kill these things before they kill you. what if one gets out and sets all the others free and they all sting you at the same time and shit. have you not considered these things?
