Stupidest shit ever, some white hipster dude makes a flashy dramatic video for a conflict that ended years ago because IC needs to reup on their cash flow. 31% of donations going to Uganda and most of it going to their corrupt as fuck government and military which is probably as guilty when it comes to human rights abuse as the LRA is. The LRA's been out of the game for awhile, their numbers are fewer than c-style fans and they're really on their last legs. Kony is some crusty old nigga hiding out in the jungles of some other shit African country, dudes probably sick hiding in some mud hut in the congo, he's not even a threat. Kids see this flashy video though and immediately think they're all political scientist and humanitarian activist because they liked or shared it, some go further to buy some overpriced merchandise that's going to line the pockets of dude who made the video and buy his son some more of those stripped sweaters from the baby section of urban outfitters. The whole movement of the video is to push for more awareness or whatever so that the 100 military advisers can continue to operate. It doesn't cost shit to have 100 army dudes in congo, it's not like the whitehouse was about to turn around and remove them but even then this Kony nigga isn't even in Uganda anymore so it's pretty pointless to keep pushing for support to find someone who'll probably die from health problems before the end of the year, it's really all just a front so IC can keep running.
Africa is fucked anyways, fucking people there eat hearts and virgin children because they think it's going to give them advantage in battle and shit like that. Militaries go and rape entire villages of women and recruit 13 year olds to fight in the army.
