This question in particular is for the brothas', because we all know how fuckin packed a black barbershop can be on a Saturday morning/afternoon. I've waited up to two hours just for line up, fuck walk-ins. Dreading having to go in the morning.

I stopped going to "professionals" at 14. Through trial and error I've learned to cut and style my own hair quite well.
Saved around $7,200 over the years. The only downside is niggas are always wanting a free bee. I'd do it as a side gig but I don't need the money.

Buddy does the same shit my nigga. Get more compliments on my own cuts than I ever did on the ones I paid for. I actually do it on the side for $5-$10 a cut.

smh i wish i could book an appointment at my barbers. everyone is walk-in, i waited around 3 hours once. but the times it reaches that length is when everyone is waiting on the best guy. it got to the point where the other barbers just stopped working there and now it's just the owner.

2 hours and then when it was time for me to get in the chair my barber went on lunch break, so I was about to just thug it out until the next day. As I was walking out, the the barber next to him was like, "Come on, I can fade you up better than him." So I contemplated for 5 seconds, then was like F it, sat down, and thoroughly explained to him how I wanted it and he straight butchered me -__-. I knew it was over when he was lining me up and spent 5 minutes comparing the left and right side. When he gave me the mirror and asked how I liked it, I didn't say ish. I got up and I left...without paying. That day I learned a valuable less about having patience.
