i just went to zeitgeist sf and that was pretty chill. 6 dollar burgers with fries (which was totally worth it(, a pitcher of beer for you and friends and you can smoke out in the back
best kept secret
and i'm sooo happy i found out about it. omg
funny shit right there. Zeitgeist has been around for years, no secret about it. Can't miss the damn place since it's always busy. the only reason you may think it's a "best kept secret" or you're glad you found it is because you probably don't live in the city, much less in the Mission area. And to be honest with you, not a spot where you see many asians
Anyway dude, come to SF and do all the touristy things first. Go sight seeing, Golden Gate Bridge/Golden Gate Park, Embarcadero, Ferry Building, Fishermans Wharf, The Presidio (Walt Disney Museum), SFMOMA (Museum of Modern Arts) Plenty of galleries all over the city with some really interesting artists. Across the Golden Gate Bridge you have SkyWalker Ranch. All the star wars shit you wanna see (if you're a fan) I still though it was dope.
SF has some pretty dope architecture. Bring a camera. If you like to skateboard/or ride whether fixed gear or road bike then this is the place to ride.
If you have a motorcycle, you should definitely bring it as we have some really good twisties and world class racetracks near by
Food? YOu can't go wrong in this city. Fine dining is cool and all but I like the mom and pop joints just as much because they're food is cheap but packs a lot of good flavors.
Breakfast:
Mama's in Colombus Square. Trust me, you want to have bfast here. And while you're there check out The DarkSide Initiative for their dope selection of gear. While in the area check out Little Italy and Chinatown. Alll the strip bars are just down the street as well. Bring some singles, lol.
SEARS (not the clothing store) Good food.
Tommy's Joynt you gotta try it
Nordstroms Bar, atop the Nordstroms store. Good food and you get a great view of Powell street and the cable cars.
SanTung for the BEST hot wings. Not your typical hot wing, these have an Chinese fusion thing going on.
Too many to list and I'm sure I'm missing a boat load of them.
Lunch/Dinner:
HRD They got some crazy Mexican/Korean fusion thing going but it works. Everything there is delicious
Brendas (french, criole) very good food.
Ikes sandwiches
Equinox resturant atop the Hyatt. Restaurant rotates ever so slowly and you can see the city from all angles
Che Papa (french)
Any restaurant in the "French Quarter" at Belden Place. There's Italian, Spanish (from Spain), and French restaurants.
Off the Grid should be up and running in a couple of months
Humphrey Slocombe for the best Ice Cream you'll ever have. I recommend Jesus Juice and Secret Breakfast but all their flavors are creative and so damn tasty.
SanTung for the BEST hot wings. Not your typical hot wing, these have an Chinese fusion thing going on.
The Stinking Rose
SF has a lot of bars/clubs that double as show venues. Mezzanine/ 330 Ritch/ Rickshaws ahhhhhh I'm forgetting a lot of them
Comedy clubs
strip clubs
What are you coming out here for? business? pleasure?
There's always shit to do in the city, you just have to hook up with fun and outgoing people and they'll show you SF.
