lol Jesus Christ resents everything Justin Beiber stands for. He did say its easier for a camel to go through an eye of a needle than a rich man to make it to heaven.
That doesn't mean rich people will never make it to Heaven.
Its not necessarily the possession of wealth, it's the trusting of said wealth that God disapproves of.
No actually it does mean rich people will never make it to heaven. Jesus was 100% against material wealth. Jesus lived life as a poor man and Christianity is all about waiting for heaven in the sky and denying extravagance on earth. Not that I'm religious, although I do like some of the stuff that Jesus said. I just find it ironic Justin Beiber thinks he relates to Jesus.
The actual pursuit of wealth is not ideal for a Christian, but I doubt it's 'impossible' for a rich man to be saved.
Peep: "the phrase eye of a needle referred to the small gate that was opened in the great gate of an Oriental city when the latter was closed for the night. They say it is difficult, but, possible, for a camel to pass through such a gate."
The way I see it a 'rich man' is someone who is exclusively concerned about riches, and accquiring wealth rather than being concerned about his faith in God.
Oh, take a look at every pastor that leads a congregation in American churches, aren't they all rich?
