i dont care what the senate says. you kids watch too much v for vendetta. let's just hope the law doesnt pass. and if it does, i dont think the soldiers would like it either. i cant imagine any soldier doing this when they are thinking about how someone in their family back at home could be getting pistol whipped for doing something that another soldier thinks is disorderly. they would all run home once they touch down on american soil. we should only worry once the government hands out immunity cards to people who have family in the military. by then we should be worried.

have you ever talked to someone in the military about that kind of shit? I'm not saying that they're going to open fire on their own families, but they are unreasonably loyal and dedicated to the military. Like I was talking to this kid I know in the army, about the whole Israel/Palestine issue, because he was anti-Palestine. Minutes earlier he had been saying how he would straight shoot a dude if they tried to mug him or stick him up for his wallet. But when I asked him if he was Palestinian, and Israelis came to steal his entire livelihood, he said he would not commit violent action.
When I pointed out that hypocrisy, he legit said that he didn't care, he just wouldn't admit that in any situation he would ever harm someone in the US military or in their interests. Like he legit was trying to tell me that he would rather his own family died of starvation than oppose the US military. For a lot of those kids, the army IS their family

most likely nothing will happen. The NDAA gives the government the justification to detain american citizens indefinitely, but it doesnt mean they will. the army isn't gonna be raiding people's homes and murdering people's families and shit like that. I understand why people are up in arms about this. The law has terrible implications, but i think people are overreacting just a little bit.
