hey, yeah first thread.
i fail to understand how a lot of guys can obsess over clothing, brands, spend most of their spare time looking on the internet for clothes and then spending most their money on expensive shit. I dont care if its fashion or underground clothes you're so interested in, can someone explain me the reason for this addiction. I dont know if its psychological needs for acceptance or simply because... idk i dont want to complicate what i cant understand. I never really gave a fuck about what i was wearing as long as it looked okay and was comfortable. Someone just please try to explain guys' interest in clothing, heehee

It is like you said the need for acceptance, the need to be looked at or to be looked up to. People feel that their appearance identifies who they are as a person when it actually doesn't. If they buy more expensive clothes it makes them a cooler, smarter person or whatever it may be. Buying expensive clothes also creates the illusion that you're apart of an elite exclusive group. Everyone wants to belong somewhere and that's where those people who are buying expensive clothes want to belong. Dressing nice gives you confidence too which allows one to acquire bitches and dat rep on sufu.
