How come Madara wasn't fighting with them while they were fighting Obito? Did I miss something

because naruto would be over and everyone would be dead if madara joined in now.

first of all, how are all these other shinobi going to contribute to this fight? they would normally all die within a few minutes because they are fighting the fucking juubi and madara uchiha, yet i'm sure there is going to be some dramatic, cheesy teamwork involved. second, WTF is madara doing this ENTIRE time? he has killed no one. i bet even the kages are still alive.
