You're right, Minato gave one to him as a gift when Kakashi graduated to Jounin.

Hence why he was worried of Zabuza when he used that technique because the Sharingan can't see through it.

Sasuke never fought Haku with the mist. Only reason she got killed was because Haku beasted on Sasuke and Naruto used his anger and went Nine tails to whoop Dat Ass.
