So guys, me and a buddy of mine are trying to open a cafe. The setting is in the Central Business District where theres' prolly finna b alot of high rise buildings and shit naw'mean. So basically I'ma need ideas as to what to include in the cafe (no alcoholic beverages thanks) I'm open to anything, just throw ur ideas out there.

Exactly! Thanks bro. I was thinking about doing something similar along the lines of Macarons as a specialty product. Its difficult to be weird/unheard of/special without going overboard with it's concept.

Do you guys not get macaroons over there? I think to draw the business crowd you should make some type of easy fast good food. Really things don't need to be complicated to be good. Some of the best dishes come from only three to five ingredients. Think of light salads, pastas, sandwiches. But make them really simple and flavorful.

Nigs in here talking pasta's and shit in a cafe lol. Cafe's are suppose to have "minimalist" foods. Stuff that you can eat with one hand, toss into a bag if you have to run or hold and eat while you read a book at the same time. Aim for finger foods only...I think there is a huge market for juice... Not enough juice bars, and juice shops. Have fresh squeezed fruit juices. Downtown in manhattan by tribeca and wall st there are these fruit stands that everyone flocks to. A lot of the workers in the area go to these stands and get fruit salads and fruit juices, a big alternative to caffeine boosts.

Sell pieces by local artists. I went to a cafe that did this, there were some dope paintings n shit. Plus the cafe kept like 10% of what it sold for.

sell something people can take out with them like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulla. they are easy to make and don't cost alot. young people like those kind of things and they can bring them to school: free advertisement. there's this cafe in my town and they sell big ass pulla's there and with good price so everybody in this town knows about them.

you're asking for advice about what to put in a cafe. seems like you were hanging out with your friend, something like opening up a cafe randomly came up, and you guys decided to go with it. do you even have any experience with this kind of stuff? sounds like you'd just be throwing away money
