you gotta find the good things about where you live.
I grew up in cincinnati and a lot of the shit you guys are complaining about is true there too, but i still managed to find shit to do, have fun etc. you just gotta make things happen instead of waiting for them to come to you. if you dont have that attitude youll be feelin like there isnt shit to do no matter where you live.

yea houston definitely isn't a bad place to live. not trying to be a homer or anything cause i live here, but there's a lot of good reasons why people live in houston. cost of living here is really cheap, not to mention gas is so much better here than other parts of america. the music scene here is also pretty good and although people think all of texas is pretty bumfuck, houston is one of the biggest metropolis' in the states. of course some people can't put up with the long ass summers but whatever... my friends and family always find something to do down here. if you don't have a car and live in houston though you're fuckkkkkked.
