I am currently in Tampa, FL awaiting for USbank to send my new debit card. About two weeks ago while I was in Seattle my card was compromised. There were about $600 of fraudulent charges made at a truck stop in South Carolina(Loves truckstop at that, my favorite). My card was canceled and steps were taken to issue a new one. Since I was heading back to Tampa I had the new one expedited and sent there. Of course USbank screws up and sends it via snail mail to my Seattle address. I was about to leave for New Orleans(the city that does not believe in cards, only cash) in a few days with pretty much zero cash. And of course USbank is called USbank because they are only in 25 of the states, go figure. Forgiving all this I ask for a new card to get sent to Tampa again. Returning back form NOLA, walking in the door I was hoping to see mail for me on the table. But of course USbank has screwed up again. They sent the card without writing in the apartment number in the address field. Now UPS is taking their dear time delivering this package.
Enough with the rant. I hope to have the card by tomorrow afternoon and would like to hit the road Tuesday morning. A short 40 mile bike ride should land me in Saint Petersburg(Florida, not Russia). A two day visit there and I’ll be back to full riding mode. Around Florida and up the East Coast I go!
