I mean itd be kind of weird if George bush won after letting 9/11 happen and Obama lost after killing the guy who supposedly planned 9/11....

Depends who the Republicans come up with. Right now it's looking like he doesn't have a great deal of competition. I know that he needs more than 4 years to implement the changes he is hoping to implement, so it would be nice to see him continue on.

i'm the best mayne, i deed it

the american people dont have control of who wins so ultimately him killing osama has no real impact on him getting re-elected or not.

He won already... There is no way at all Obama will lose... I think every politician knows that. Even if the events today never occurred he would win. Republicans have no one and Obama is an icon.

lmao but popular vote doesnt count.... this is a well known fact.

so even if everyone in america voted for obama and no one voted for the republican candidate, it still would not make him president.

bush, John q. adams, harrison, hayes

but generally, the electoral college votes along with the pop vote. some states even have laws that require their representatives in the electoral college to vote for whoever won the popular vote in that state.

edit: electoral college is still ass though

I think it really depends on who the Republicans pick as a candidate, right now is too early. I don't believe Trump will truly run. It should be interesting though, that's for sure.
