LOST is one of my favorite shows ever, but the last episode was such a cop-out disappointing piece of shit. The first two seasons were fucking awesome.
^^Those first two seasons were perfect, after that the show just asked way too many questions without giving answers. I definitely feel like the writers thought the show was gonna be on for much longer than it actually was so they just kept creating plot lines without ever fully wrapping them up.

Lost started so good, but just went ridiculous after a while.
I unreservedly love this show. I think you had to be a fan from the beginning to have a certain affection towards it, though. People watching for the first time on DVD don't have that anticipation of waiting 9 months to see how the fuck an island disappears.
It is flawed, but on the whole I liked the finale. If you were watching just to get boxes ticked, questions answered, then you were watching the wrong show.
