Help w/ Anxiety

Does anybody know any tricks or tips that would help me with anxiety, I've come to realize I have a huge anxiety problem, just the thought of something slightly nerve racking makes my stomach hurt and shit.

tell yourself everything will be alright, you mind plays tricks on you, and once you start worrying and then realize you're worrying, it makes things 10x worse. just take a deep breath and chill out

How old are you, like 15? You'll grow out of it if and when you realize that things are never as bad as you think they'll be. I used to be mad anxious as well, but I realized that I was blowing little shit out of proportion, and convincing myself something was going to go wrong. Just try not to panic, and try to access the situation from a logical standpoint. Ask yourself this: "what is the absolute worse that can happen?"

Weed and certain prescription medications can also dull your anxiety.

Meds is a last resort. A pill isn't gonna get rid of your problems. If your anxiety revolves around real-life things, then attack it. If you're scared of public speaking for example, like the others said, think rationally and put things into perspective: "do i really have anything to worry about?". If you're anxiety is irrational, then you're either too stressed out, or have a form of GAD (I doubt you have GAD though, I think you're just going through a hard time).

With that being said, exercise and eating healthy will defintely make you feel less anxious. I think the thing that helped me the most was meditation and breathing exercises. Just look up "relaxing music" on youtube, clear your mind, and take some slow deep breathes.

If all else fails, then you should try medication, nothing to be ashamed of. Just make sure it's not an addictive substance like Xanax, cause that shit will fuck you up.

What majority of people understand is that in some cases, your anxiety-depression etc is caused by chemicals in your brain being fucked. When that's the case medication is the way to go. Make sure you won't be on it forever though..The side effects can be a bitch( sexual dysfunction being one), but you just got to use it.

Usually if one causes sexual dysfunction (which isn't always a bad thing, prozac can be used to treat premature ejaculation), it can be reversed by switching to another type.

Sexual dysfunction is always a bad thing and will make your illness feel worse.
Decreased sex drive, losing ability to ejaculate, softer erection, shorter orgasms-- And this is only the sexual side effects-
