^They're completely different. Layrite isn't really pomade in the traditional sense. It's more like creamy hair gel. It dries and then you can't really adjust it after that. The good thing is, it washes out very easily, where as Murrays clings to everything. I spend so much time washing combs, its stupid.

^ pretty much sums it up. it's like a pomade / gel mixture, but not really. but from what i've researched, no one has really complained about layrite. so i hope it doesn't disappoint

For sure. You can get Murrays at any Shoppers Drugmart that has one of those "ethnic" hair products section or at the Barber Supply on Bay. As for the Layrite, you can pick it up at Crows Nest Barbershop in Kensignton. Get a cut while you're there, you won't regret it.
