You're right to suspect Hypebeast would have posted something had there been a new collab with uncommon. However, there has been no mention on Bape's Japan site where the news section is updated on a daily basis. In fact, there is actually a news posting promoting a new Gizmobies case weekly which should lead anyone to agree they are still working with Gizmobies and have not sourced a different company to make the cases.
I'm not familiar with uncommon at all but the only logical explanation is that they are not authorized to make them.
But hey, it's not my money. Do with it what you will. No big deal I guess.

Those iPhone cases are official BAPE licensed products, yes. It is a collaboration from BAPE Japan x Uncommon instead of going through the US division, that is why we are not selling these online.
