Honestly, the trickiest part is taping the soles. I taped tight against the midsole while leaving half of the tape on the shoe itself. I used my nail to dig the tape into the groove between the sole and the shoe. Used the exacto knife to cut away the excess on the uppers. Then I just dyed it with the swab until is was almost saturated. You def wanna go heavy. Otherwise you'll get uneven color and it'll fade faster and look sloppy.
