So I tried this lambic after Sonny's suggestion

Tasted like I expected it too, but much more fruitier. It's like a sour, carbonated fruit juice, for adults. I'd buy it again. I'd imagine it would be good with dessert, pastries and sweets.

had that^^ overall its good
but it is nothing special to it was just a fruity carbonated drink.

I usually suggest it to girls who say they hate beer or when people want something sweet/tart
August 19, 2011 @ 12:15:35

August 19, 2011 @ 12:45:03

Try a lambic float... Vanilla icecream, pour lambic of choice over.

How's the Hitachino Extra High? I'm a big fan of the brewery and I'm looking for a new Japanese beer, especially from them.

Had this a few days ago. If you really like dark, bitter tasting beer this is good. Really gives you a good kick of flavor. Definitely not your choice of beer if you're in the mood for chugging beer. Strong taste= take your time, relax, and/or eat.

ight i'm sure there have been a bunch of suggestions already but i'm not going to dig through 25 pages to find it....

what ipa do you guys suggest? i usually get a stone ipa or dogfish head 60 min ipa if they have it. i'm always drinking the same stuff though so i'd like to try new things.

or any other beer in general. i usually get a purple haze or sierra nevada pale ale if i'm eating.

I'm not a huge fan of beer. I've always found the taste a bit too bitter, even light beer. I do drink beer from time to time though, but I prefer things like Vodka, Rum Cream, etc

I'm not understanding the hype behind this just yet

Maybe my pallet isn't "evolved" enough. My friend who's pretty much a beer connoisseur swears by this stuff. Shit smells good, but I enjoyed the seasonal's more specifically the noel.
