Because at the end of the day we are all humans, no one more important than the next the have's should help out the have nots.

It's interesting that so many are assuming he never gives back, why is that? If he has 1 billion to spend on a house he definitely has enough to donate and most rich do so simply because they know it makes them look good. And don't ignore the fact that since he built the home with materials from Indian companies, hired Indian workers, and built apartments for the people who lived in the slums around the house and that the money involved goes back to the Indian economy.

Sure his house is extravagant but he's one of the richest people in the world, why should we expect him to earn a bunch of money just to give it away and not be stupid with it?
