well, I don't have one yet....but my boy has one that has a usb drive....if you download a lot of movies, that's the way to go. My boy apparently dl's blu ray movies onto his thumb drive and just plugs it in and watches it. Just a thought.

For mounting it make sure you take into account how you're going to hide all the wires/where you're gonna put your dvd player/game system/etc. Cause it will look stupid if you have a bunch of wires hanging down from the tv. They make wire cover things.

w/e you do dont get one with a glossy screen if you're putting it in a room that gets a lot of sun. Cause right i have a vizio and my living room and glare's a bitch. the blinds only do so much

Yep, and definitely don't get plasma if there's a ton of sunlight, there will be a ton of glare.
