How would I go about financing a car without a job?

I collect unemployment right now and I got 3 grand for a down payment. I know when I finance I need to show paystubs to the dealership and I know unemployment checks wont qualify. Im pretty sure I have a job locked down I found out this week but this is a new place opening and they won't open until August and I don't want to wait that long to show those paystubs. Can i get a loan from a bank and pay that off instead or what?

Just me, but I'd wait till I had that job for sure before financing a car (Do you really need a car that bad? Please tell me it isn't new). Buying a vehicle while collecting unemployment checks lol, most impressive.

It's pretty ridiculous how easy it is to finance things, probably why so many people drown in debt.

even if you have a relative co-sign for you, a decent bank or auto dealership will NOT give you financing without the ability to prove a steady source of income. if you can find one that does, i suggest you mill through the paperwork with a fine tooth comb, because they are going to absolutely rape you on finance charges and constantly compounding interest. these businesses are out to make money, and they have a time tested and proven business model for doing so, which involves taking advantage of people willing to go into debt far exceeding their means.

just because someone is willing to hand you money does not mean its in your best interest to take it.

Yeah I talked to my dad and he said either wait until the end of the week and see if I got that job or take my 3 grand and get a car with that.

3gs gets u a honda civic on the street, wtf u breaking your back to go into financial ruin so soon, niqqa if u deadset on goin that route go to one of them "buy here, pay here" dealerships, they dont even do background or credit checks, as long as u can pay the agreed upon price every week cash, they dont give a fuck
