whats the first cause do you think?

Honestly, I can't even imagine what the "first cause" is. It's just mind boggling that the Universe was made from an explosion. But what did the Big Bang explode IN? IDK, I'm just very interested in stuff like this.

I had taken the words out of his mouth and filled it with fart.

But the stars are farther away than the moon.

Maybe one should shoot for the stars and then land on the clouds.

If there's an end in space, what lies on the other side of it?

I'm not sure if this one has been talked about, but Plato's "Allergory of the Cave" interests me.

Isnt the truth just a perception agreed upon by the majority? The earth is flat was once the truth.

if someone can answer the question to the "why", this person is not thinking.

death does not exist; there's just living and not living. so there is no living after death...

Can death be thought of as a negative thing (only thinking of the person dying, not relatives and friends) considering you no longer exist once your dead.

not existing isn't negative in any way! you so fuckin ignorant for that shit!

human made the term "death" cause we don't know what happens if we don't live...
"live" is not the same as "exist".

read some wittgenstein please... and don't call out someone being stupid, cause you're in the wrong thread.

Damn, you're actually pretty smart now i realise that English (probably) isn't your first language.

Basically though, I believe that there's nothing after life, in which case, a dead person doesn't exist to themselves. I, and many others, do not want this, therefore death is negative.

Sorry if I misunderstood you again.

actually the most accepted theory is that since we do not exist when we are dead there is no negative there is just nothing. Death in itself cannot be 'negative' simply because it is nothing, it is just the absence of life, ...the process of death is a different story though. Its pretty hard to explain plus i suck at explaining shit...

sais who? take into consideration he said aside from your friends and relatives etc. when you dont exist what feelings do you have to judge that your lack of existence is either negative or positive or even neutral. you feel nothing about it because you have become nothing therefore you cannot feel at all.

i agree that this might be viewed as negative by the living though. i don't want to die. i don't want to not exist. but when it finally happens i will have no opinion of it.

No it's not, if something is perceived globally or personally even without proven facts then it's still considered truth is it not.

I'm not, but I took Philosophy 101 this past semester. Shit is really interesting and probably my favorite class I've taken.
