I have a design project coming up for a company called Timbuk2 out of San Francisco.I have been hired to design 4 school packs for students aged 15-22. Late high school and early college.

I need to find out what is cool out there in that age group as far a bags go.

So I was wondering if you guys could help me out and give me idea on what you want in a pack ie. colour, fabric, brand names and styles(courier bag, back pack, shoulder bag, computer bag, ect.)

i dont use bags for books in college...
but
it needs a laptop space that is water sealed - so taht when that bottle of booze breaks your gear is safe from harm
actually a waterproof pocket would be a sick idea

and it needs to be shapely, most bags look wack on people's backs, most of them are too 'deep' (you know, the shortest dimension on a bag is too long) and protrude retardedly from peoples backs
