Has anyone gone through this? My interview's tomorrow and I'm pretty nervous, ahah.
ahah did u already do the computer exam?
thats a dope job. hope you get it, and i remember you from ISS/AIM.
i worked the tsa for like three weeks and quite(when the economy was good) back in college, shit is stressful but i wish u the best, the interview is a cake walk, you'll get the job
its pays around 30k. which is decent. but its a stepping stone for me
for sure. i do gotta know tho, they ask about drugs and stuff?
dammmnit. im all the way in rancho so my drive to lax is about to be killer
yeah the drive from LB is pretty tough too, haha.
what sucks is training is now 4-5 weeks long. my friend said his was only 2 weeks long. but then again, they're adding new machines so thats why. i hope its paid training. 8AM-5PM Mon-Fri for 4-5 weeks. when they asked if it was cool, i said 'yeah, sure no problem.', but in my head i was like fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
paid training indeed sir, it's a bullshit class about patting people down and looking for explosives in luggage, also, when i did it they did a urine test but i heard they changed it up to swabbing the mouth, so just be prepared for bith, but 8am-5pm is a good shift, when i worked there it my shift was 5am-2pm, but the ninjas who have the cake schedule are the dudes that work over night, don't have to worry about passengers as much as in the morning but good luck to everybody in their journey
